TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION- 2020

During the pandemic situation the students stayed at home and sent token of love and wishes on Teacher’s Day as part of Teacher’s day celebration.

BBA Alumni Association

Our Department Alumini Association was formed in the year 2020. We have two sets of former students who have passed out graduates from the Department of Management Studies, Sacred Heart College. We have an inspiring BBA Alumini  WhatsApp group. Our former students have joined different corporate, some are into logistics.  Many have inspired themselves to be Entrepreneurs. A large number of students are doing their higher education in reputed institutions across India. The students have a drive to do many Alumini association activities in the coming days.

Virtual Onam Celebration – 2020

Virtual Onam Celebrations by the students on 27^th August.  During the pandemic situation all the students stayed at home and participated in virtual Onam celebrations with cultural programme, cookery show, pookkalam, sadya and so on.

“FLASH”- Photography Contest August 2020

“Photography has emerged as an art which enables a person to express his creative vision through a digital platform”. Our students has planned and organised the Online Photography Contest- “FLASH”.

The Theme of the contest was Lockdown, Mask, Social distancing and Nature.

Webinar on Stress management During Covid 19 by Dr. Sunayna Iqbal

The Webinar was organized by the students of the Department on 21^st July 2020 from 11 Am to 12 Pm. The speaker shared the ideas on Stress Management in our day to day life and techniques to tackle stress.

Webinar on “Digital Marketing for Brand Story“ through Online platform during COVID-19

Expert Mr Jimmy George, Business Head at ByGeorge Content Solutions addressed the students on 13^th August 2020, 2.30 pm-3.30 pm IST on Cisco WebEx meeting platform. He imparted his experience to our students on Digital marketing.

The use of marketing through digital technology is been termed as Digital  Marketing, which is the most dynamic and powerful way of marketing.

Power Talk  by Corporates

Mr.Ebbin Jose, the key speaker, is a food vlogger who has travelled around 25 countries and having a YouTube channel named Food n Travel. He explained to the students about the importance of how to pack and present yourself to be accepted and received. He shared his personal experience of getting to this field. He explained how important it is do a job that each person loves.

Onam Celebration 2019

The Department conducted Onam celebration in a grand and traditional manner. The students arranged Onam feast in connection with the celebrations. Competitions were conducted in the college.

Study Tour

Study tour to Usgao plant of M R F GOA. The students visited the plant location from   6th Feb – to 10th Feb 2020.  Wherein the students   gone through the various activities conducted in Tyre manufacturing the plant

One Week Internship at NEST

NEST, under Koyilandy Palliative care Society is a voluntary social group headquarter at koyilandy, 25 kilometre north of Calicut in Kerala. It was started by 4 volunteers and 7 patients in 2005. NEST has now more than 300 volunteer and 3000 plus patients and beneficiaries. Operating in one municipal town and five surrounding panchayaths, the organization covers 100,000 people. For a period of one week the students had the opportunity to do volunteer work in NEST, for an internship which was an eye opening experience which made students realize the reality called life. The duration was from 12th to 16th November 2019.

Job Fair conducted by BBA ( 2017- 2020 Batch)

More than 50 corporate companies were invited to the college to conduct the Job fair. The Department organized the program and our students learnt to plan, organize and lead the program.
